This morning I attended my third Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast at the Koury Center in Greensboro. The featured speaker was Dr. Crystal Kuykendall and she was amazing! Her presentation was centered on children. She shared about something she learned when setting up house for one of her daughters who was an exchange student in Kenya for a year. She went and visited a village of the Masai and learned their traditional greeting that means, "How are the children?" If the children are well, then the village is well. Makes sense. What would be the answer if we asked that here in the U.S.?

Zipper hanging out on her daddy's leg

"Vinyl loves Jesus. Good Vinyl."

Ronn's been away from work helping take care of his new baby. We had to show we loved him and missed him! We wrapped his desk in stretch wrap. Notice the shipping label; it's being shipped to India. (Ronn's an IT guy. IT jobs have been outsourced to India. Get it? I know.... but we're geeks. What'd you expect?)

Bugley's "special" plate created by Jennifer at Your House Diner. He messd it up a little, but it was a hot dog plate with buns for eyes & brows, weiner chunks for teeth, mustard for a nose, and slaw for hair. The place was cracking up over this.
