Twice now, I’ve seen this ad for Veramyst - a prescription medication for allergies. Is it just me or is there something glaringly wrong with a pharmaceutical company marketing something with the following notice?
“The way VERAMYST works is not entirely understood.”
I’ve looked on the Veramyst website and find nothing that reiterates this warning, at least nothing in layman terms.
A Google search for the the offending phrase assures me I am not alone in my concern. I don’t think I’ll be asking my doctor about it anytime soon.
There’s a new little gadget over in the sidebar. It’s there to help me stay on track with a program I think will work even without the accountability boost. On Monday, I started using Robert Ullrey’s podcasts based on the Couch to 5K program on CoolRunnings. Today I ran my second session and will run the third on Friday. I’ve not quite managed to ease myself into many exercise programs. Usually, I either go too hard and burn out or injure myself or I go too easy and (ahem) forget to continue. Also, I don’t need much inconvenience to deter me from my exercise; the gym being 20-25 minutes away from home certainly works! Well, going for a run is just outside my door. Let’s hope the door doesn’t stick…
If you think to, please ask me how my running is going. My goal is to love running and do it regularly. I’ll take all the help I can get in attaining it.
